Job Description
The Resource is hiring a Catalog Administrator for our client, a furniture manufacturer, located in High Point, NC! This is permanent, Direct-Hire opportunity that offers a salary range of $40,000 per year, and has a 1st shift schedule (7:30am-5:30pm). The Catalog Administrator would be responsible for maintaining an efficient and up-to-date catalog of the company product lines. Duties will also include documenting and categorizing systems, tracking system attributes, and ensuring accurate information in the catalog. Ideal candidates for this role should expert level excel experience, catalog management principles and practices knowledge, and excellent organizational skills. Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain the organization's systems catalog, including product catalog entries, pricing, and codes
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the product catalog by regularly updating and verifying information
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate catalog data, ensuring alignment with business requirements
- Utilize project management tools and techniques to design and implement the catalog management strategy
- Accurate and up-to-date systems catalog reflecting the organization's products
- Efficient and effective catalog management processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- Well-maintained asset management processes, ensuring optimal utilization of organizational assets
- Timely and quality service delivery through effective catalog management
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in Excel database management, catalog management, or related roles
- The ability to create pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, FILTER, INDEX, and IFERROR functions
- Strong knowledge of catalog management principles and practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented approach to ensure precision and accuracy in catalog management
- Adaptability to quickly respond to changes in the product catalog
- Commitment to customer satisfaction, prioritizing customer needs, and developing solutions
