Corporate Insurance Representative (Part-Time)

We' re seeking a Corporate Insurance Representative for our healthcare client located in Winston-Salem. This position has responsibility for all support functions related to liability insurance coverage for the Triad and Southern Piedmont Regions. This is a Part-Time, Temporary opportunity with the working hours of 9: 00am-3: 00/4: 00pm, three days per week (20 hours per week). The assignment will last until early January 2018, and offers a pay rate of $14.00 per hour. Responsibilities:
- Complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing, and assist in gathering data to prepare insurance applications
- Maintain/update departmental information systems/databases with underwriting information, renewal data, policy information and claims information
- Maintain a filing system for correspondence and requests, and respond to various documentation requests as needed
- Maintain a listing of company drivers per departmental guidelines, and support the team in MVR report queries
- Assist with claims histories and loss run reports according to departmental guidelines, and assist with other projects as assigned
- Assist the team in management of general accounting and any other insurance-related projects; Initiate payments for insurance premiums and all other insurance related costs, and assist with check deposits for property claims
- Maintain accurate listing of property and contents for insurance purposes, and notify insurance carrier of any changes that impact the insurance premiums
- Collect data from various sources to develop summaries for the purpose of reporting on insurance, loss trends and loss prevention.

Requirements:
- Associates Degree required; Bachelor degree preferred
- CISR Preferred
- Previous work within an insurance agency/brokerage firm or medical office setting
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the ability to quickly learn additional software programs and applications
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, and willingness to participate in department and other continuing education as required
