Installation Technician - Industrial Equipment | Yadkinville, NC Immediate Temp-to-Hire Opportunity - $15/hr About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Installation Technician to join our client's team in Yadkinville, NC. As a leading commercial and industrial equipment supplier, we offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits for the right candidate.
Work Schedule
- Extended shift: 6:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- 6/10 hour days
- Overtime opportunities available
- First shift position with potential for mandatory overtime
- Install, repair, and maintain heavy machinery equipment
- Perform electrical wire installation and maintenance
- Handle equipment installation projects both on-site and at client locations
- Operate company vehicles for day travel assignments
- Participate in out-of-town installations when required
- Demonstrated experience with basic hand tools (wrenches, ratchets, sockets)
- Knowledge of electrical wire pulling techniques
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Safety Training System (STS) certification
- Ability to work extended hours when needed
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Long pants required for safety compliance
- Must bring own lunch
- Steel-toed boots and other PPE as required
- Willingness to travel for day assignments
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays
- Paid travel time for day assignments in company vehicle
- $30.00 daily per diem for overnight stays
- Company-paid motel accommodations for out-of-town work
