Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance tasks including building upkeep, pipefitting, plumbing, carpentry, and equipment repairs.
- Maintain and repair welding machines, grinders, and machining centers.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, lift trucks, cranes, drill presses, cut-off saws, bending and threading machines, and snow removal equipment.
- Perform welding, painting, cleaning, and other related duties as needed.
- Safely climb and work from heights up to 80 feet.
- Read and work from simple prints, specifications, and procedures.
- Use basic computer skills to document repairs in maintenance software.
- Assist higher-level maintenance staff as directed.
- Handle hazardous materials in compliance with site guidelines.
- Follow all safety and health regulations to maintain a safe workplace.
- General knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety measures.
- Ability to perform tasks that impact workplace health and safety.
- Familiarity with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in maintenance.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
- Welding experience.
- Formal training and/or certifications in maintenance or related fields.
- Experience with LOTO procedures and troubleshooting mechanical/electrical systems.
