Job Description

The Resource is hiring a Power Control System Tester for our client, a global leader in the manufacture of transfer switches, paralleling switchgear, power control, load banks and surge devices, located in Lexington, NC! This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity offering a starting pay rate of $19.71, with a 1st shift working schedule (8:00am-4:30pm). Responsibilities include working closely with the engineering department to test mechanical and electrical systems to exceed customer’s expectations. Qualified candidates should have experience in electrical manufacturing and knowledge of PLC programming is a plus. If you're highly motivated and ready to move forward in your career, apply today!

Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Perform mechanical and electrical tests on products per controlled documentation
- Responsible for documentation of test data
- Insure electrical testing is done in a safe manner for themselves and coworkers
- Comply with company rules and regulations
- 2 year Electrical Degree or equivalent training is preferred
- 3+ years’ experience in electrical manufacturing (essential)
- Must be highly motivated and willing to work with your hands
- Knowledge of PLC programming is a plus
- Must be able to follow blueprints and read electrical diagrams
- Ability to build from drawings and reverse engineering is a plus
- Working with high voltage
- Willing to work weekends and overtime as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
