The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on, people-focused Production Team Leader to support operations at their High Point, NC facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who enjoys coaching teams, building processes, and driving continuous improvement—especially within a start-up manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Production
  • Lead by example as a working Team Leader, actively participating alongside Production Associates
  • Serve as backup support for Operators as needed
  • Manage daily production workflows, including chemical batching and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with team members to meet production goals and customer commitments
People & Culture
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and support employees throughout their full lifecycle
  • Coach and motivate production staff, fostering engagement, accountability, and teamwork
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and respect
  • Support performance management, scheduling, and payroll administration
Quality, Safety & Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping standards are met or exceeded
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives and track KPIs
  • Identify improvement opportunities and support implementation
  • Maintain strong communication with leadership on performance, quality, and operational needs
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering Technology or related field
    (Polymer technology/engineering is a strong asset)
  • Post-secondary education in manufacturing, logistics, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
  • Strong coaching, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Mechanical aptitude with familiarity operating production equipment
  • Comfortable using handheld scanners and intermediate computer applications
  • Forklift license and warehouse equipment training preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, pushing, and extended walking
