Key Responsibilities:
- Order Management:
- Monitor open order reports and plan daily activities to achieve on-time shipping.
- Create and assign tasks for retail pickers to efficiently complete order fulfillment.
- Guide picking teams from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Inventory & Systems:
- Utilize inventory programs such as Oracle or Worldwide Ship to track and manage stock.
- Assist with picking, staging, and prepping orders for shipment.
- Shipping Coordination:
- Support the retail shipping lead by releasing, routing, scheduling, and shipping orders.
- Become familiar with routing guides, including when and how to route orders, who to contact, and packaging/labeling requirements.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with retail pickers and customer service teams, providing updates and answering inquiries.
- Communicate needs to the finishing line and special projects teams.
- Report progress on daily goals and achievements to the supervisor.
- Experience with inventory management systems (Oracle, Worldwide Ship, or similar) a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a warehouse environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with routing guides and shipping requirements is a plus.
