Our client, which has been in existence for more than 125 years is looking for a Field Sales Representative to develop new sales strategies and attract new clients. Products made by our client demonstrate their effectiveness to customers throughout the world day in, day out in such fields as the automotive, heating and air conditioning, medical engineering, safety engineering, shipbuilding, electrical appliance, machine manufacturing and plant engineering, energy and process industries. The Field Sales Representative will source new sales opportunities and close sales to meet company quotas. The Field Representative will play a key a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services. As a Field Service Representative, this position will also research sales competition. This company produces a turnkey product, so the Field Sales Representative will be responsible for the sale process from the raw materials to the finish product portion of the sale.
Travel - Will require frequent travel; will be based in Lexington, North Carolina
Create the sale using various customer sales methods (cold calling, door-to-door, presentations, etc.)
Develop sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long-lasting relationships
Meet Company sales targets
Research accounts and generate/follow-up throughout the sales process
Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data
Maintain and expand client database internationally
Proven sales experience
Experience with working with different sales techniques and pipeline management
Computer use competency
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
BA/BS degree or equivalent
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001 is a plus
Knowledge of gaskets, technical textiles, expansion joints, insulation materials is a plus
