Job Description

We're hiring an experienced Cable Assembly Technician to join our Client's Wire Harnessing Department in East Bend, NC. This role is perfect for someone with a background in wire harness assembly manufacturing and a keen eye for detail. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity with a working schedule of 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday or 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday, and a pay rate of $16.00 per hour.   • Assemble wire harnesses using industry-standard techniques
  • Perform crimping, tinning, and soldering on electrical assemblies
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure product compliance
  • Collaborate on process improvements
  • Operate assembly tools and equipment safely
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in cable assembly and wire harness manufacturing
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics
  • Knowledge of various cables, connectors, and terminations
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Team player with ability to work independently
  • Understanding of quality control processes
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certification in electronics is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Manual dexterity for working with small components
  • Ability to stand/sit for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
