Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are met safely and on schedule
- Supervise, coach, and support a team of up to 15 manufacturing employees
- Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and provide hands-on leadership on the floor
- Oversee advanced composite fiber processing equipment and plant machinery
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment or process issues to minimize downtime
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and accountability
- Train employees on equipment operation, work instructions, and safety procedures
- Enforce 5S standards to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
- Collaborate with engineering and leadership to drive productivity and continuous improvement
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Previous leadership or lead experience in a production environment
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- Associate’s Degree or technical degree
- Background in textile manufacturing or composite materials
- Experience leading teams in a high-volume or regulated manufacturing environment
- D-Shift: 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM
- Rotating schedule:
- Week 1: Wednesday – Saturday
- Week 2: Thursday – Saturday
