Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Operator to join our team! This role is responsible for setting up and operating fabrication machines to produce high-quality units with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, handling materials, and ensuring production quality while meeting company and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate fabrication machines, including turrets, brake presses, and Cincinnati machines, at required production rates.

Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing instructions to ensure accuracy in production.

Perform various operations such as PEM insertion, tapping, and radiusing.

Verify and identify parts to ensure correct specifications and quality standards.

Transfer materials and assist in the smooth flow of production processes.

Operate a previously set turret or brake press efficiently.

Maintain a strong focus on quality control and ensure finished units meet company standards.

Collaborate with the team to support manufacturing production and customer needs.

Suggest improvements for product quality and manufacturing processes.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Handle and lift heavy materials as required.

Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding any quality or safety concerns.

High school diploma or GED equivalency required.

Minimum of one year of fabrication experience preferred.

Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and manufacturing instructions.

Strong understanding of shop math and measurement techniques.

Knowledge of cabinet fabrication is a plus.

Familiarity with World-Class Manufacturing principles is desirable.

Forklift Operator certification is required.

Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a fast-paced environment.
