Healthcare benefits, 401k, Paid Time Off and more available on Day 1 and a generous bonus plan. In this role, you are responsible for preparation of timely quotes for customers and accurate entry into the system. You are the primary point of contact for customers in obtaining Quote status, milestone tracking and any other required updates until final shipment.

Qualified Candidates will have a technical education, preferably a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (other engineering fields or equivalent experience will also be considered).  1-2 years of experience in application engineering or inside sales is desired. Pneumatics/hydraulics applications engineering/controls experience a plus

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:
  • Review customer requests for quotation (RFQ), including technical and commercial specifications. Identify cost effective best suited engineered product for the application.
  • Read, analyze and interpret customer/project supplied schematics.
  • Size and select appropriate actuators, and communicate this information to customers using established format.
  • Produce accurate and detailed proposal to meet customer requested bid date. Clarify any deviations, assumptions or exceptions to customer project specifications and state recommendations.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Contracts and Management) to review projects and develop a plan of action prior to quotation and after receipt of order.
  • Ensure customers’ requirements are completely and adequately transferred to Contracts.
