We are now hiring an Administrative Assistant for our client, a premier sock and legwear design and marketing firm, located in Winston Salem, NC! This opportunity is Temp to Hire, has a pay rate of $15.00 per hour, and has a day time schedule. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, organizational skills, the ability to resolve problems, to maintain office records and files. Responsibilities:
-Ensuring office functions are conducted efficiently and accurately
-Overseeing the use and maintenance of office equipment and supplies
-Answering, screening and directing incoming calls
-Greeting and providing general support to guests and visitors
-Maintaining office records and files
-Photographing products and assisting in the creation of catalogs
- Managing contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease
-Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time
-Distributing incoming mail, packages, faxes, etc., and p reparing outgoing packages (UPS & FedEx)
-Serving as the point person for maintenance, mailing, shopping, supplies, equipment, bills, and errands
-Coordinating office events, and organizing and scheduling appointments
-Responsible for sending temp/contractors hours to agency to ensure payment
-Scheduling car service, transportation and travel arrangements as needed
-Assisting various departments with projects and presentations
-Undertaking the orientation procedures of new employees to make them well-versed with the office policies, procedures and equipment
-Maintain the office budget and keep track of all office expenses, and assist in preparing executive expense reports
-Record incoming prototype and sales samples per process, and p rocuring samples for wear test and testing
-Maintaining merchandising room with directions from the Design team
-Maintain photo library of all current season products

Requirements:
-Must be able to work autonomously to manage the office
-Must be able to deal with office-related issues and resolve appropriately
-Must be able to handle customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and satisfactory manner
