Position Overview
As a Bilingual HR Recruiter, you will play a vital role in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent for both production and administrative roles. You’ll also support onboarding, employee relations, and HR communications, serving as a bridge between English- and Spanish-speaking employees.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Staffing
- Partner with department managers to identify hiring needs across production, maintenance, and office roles.
- Develop and post job openings on platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, local job boards, and community resources.
- Conduct candidate screening, interviews, reference checks, and background verifications.
- Coordinate job fairs, open houses, and local recruiting events.
- Maintain a strong talent pipeline to meet ongoing hiring demands.
- Manage new-hire orientation and ensure completion of onboarding documentation.
- Translate and communicate HR policies and training materials into Spanish as needed.
- Assist employees with questions, benefits enrollment, and HR paperwork.
- Maintain applicant tracking and HRIS records accurately and confidentially.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and retention programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with management to improve recruiting processes and workforce planning.
Required:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) – fluent in both written and verbal communication.
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or a related role (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to connect with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of hiring laws, HR best practices, and employment documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience supporting HR in a bilingual or multicultural workforce.
- SHRM or PHR certification a plus.
- Fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Regular interaction with production floor employees and management.
- Standard office hours with flexibility for recruiting events or shift coverage.
