Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Ronda, NC

We are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Pillow Department as Finishing Line Operators. This hands-on role is essential in processing and packaging high-quality pillows and throws for shipment. If you have an eye for quality, enjoy working in a team environment, and want to be part of a growing production team, this is the opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate pillow blowing machines, adjusting settings to achieve desired pillow loft and density
  • Load fiberfill or down alternative materials into machine hoppers
  • Read and interpret pillow specifications and instructions
  • Monitor machine operations for consistency and accuracy in pillow filling
  • Inspect finished pillows for proper fluffiness and even distribution of fill
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and quality standards
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and work area
  • Follow safety procedures to maintain a secure and hazard-free work environment
  • Process finished throws from rolls to shipping, including packaging and inspection
  • Operate tools such as scissors, electric scissors, polybag sealers, swift tack machines, and taping machines
  • Use measuring tools such as tape measures for quality assurance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a pillow blower or in a textile/finishing role
  • Familiarity with pillow blowing machinery
  • Knowledge of product inspection and quality control procedures
  • Ability to work 6am - 2:30pm in the summer and then move to a 7:30pm to 4:00pm shift.
