Job Description

The Resource is hiring a Body Technician for our client, a major manufacturing company, located in Rural Hall, NC! This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity that offers a pay rate of $15.00-$26.00 per hour(depending on experience), and has a 1st shift schedule 7:00-3:00pm. The Body Technician would be responsible for applying body fillers, glazing putty, and primer to prep materials. The Body Technician would be responsible for also identifying and addressing quality issues. Ideal candidates for this role should previous experience in paint and body work. - Apply body fillers, glazing putty, primer, and other paint preparation materials on a daily basis
- Utilize sanding equipment such as DA sanders, grinders, and polishers as part of the preparation process
- Operate jib cranes, overhead cranes, and forklifts to load and unload materials as needed
- Identify and address quality issues to ensure finished products meet standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the assigned work area daily.

- Experience working with body fillers, primers, and paints, preferably in an automotive or similar environment
- Vocational school or on-the-job training within the auto body field or similar industry
- Minimum of 1-5 years of verifiable work experience in both paint and bodywork
- Ability to meet safety, quality, and production requirements with minimal supervision
-  Must have the ability to regularly reach with arms extended, bend to pick up and place parts on the floor, occasional lift up to 50 lbs, and pull suspended loads by hand during the use of jib crane, and regularly twisting.
