Job Description
The Resource is hiring a part-time Bookkeeper for a dynamic roofing contracting company, located in Greensboro, NC! This is a permanent, Direct-Hire opportunity that offers a pay rate of $16.00-$20.00 per hour, and has a day shift schedule working 15-20 hours per week. The bookkeeper would be responsible for the data entry of all payable transactions, all banking and credit card reconciliations, maintaining a payable schedule for all cast of goods and overhead expenses, and working closely with other members of the accounting team to forecast and budget for the operating year. Ideal candidates for this role should have previous experience in accounts payable and working knowledge using QuickBooks software program. Responsibilities:
- Daily Data Entry of all expenses, cost of goods, and create card transactions
Daily synchronization of all bank accounts to the accounting package
- Daily calculations of all sales commissions
- Compiling weekly payable reports for management review
- Monthly bank account and credit card reconciliation
- Monthly budget vs. expense review
- Posting payroll
- Entering new employees into payroll
- Entering new subcontractors and vendors into accounting package
- Balance general ledger accounts
Close projects in CRM and make sure expenses are recorded
- Pay suppliers weekly
- Ensure all subcontractors are paid on time
- Ensure suppliers are paid when jobs are closed or by invoice due date (whichever is sooner)
- Ensure commissions are calculated promptly and posted on the correct payroll
- Ensure bills are paid on time unless directed otherwise specifically by the owner/operations manager
