Key Responsibilities:
Machine Setup & Calibration:
- Prepare laser cutting machines by loading materials and adjusting settings according to job specifications.
- Install and align cutting lenses and mirrors for optimal performance.
- Load raw materials or workpieces onto the machine bed, ensuring proper alignment.
- Secure materials using clamps or fixtures to prevent movement during cutting or engraving.
- Operate laser cutting machines to execute programmed cutting paths with precision.
- Monitor key parameters, including laser power, speed, and feed rates, to ensure consistent quality.
- Troubleshoot and adjust machine settings to optimize performance.
- Inspect finished products using measuring tools and visual inspection methods.
- Ensure cut dimensions, engraving depth, and alignment meet specifications.
- Reject or rework any parts that do not meet quality standards, documenting issues for review.
- Perform routine maintenance on laser machines, including cleaning lenses, replacing worn parts, and lubricating components.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, removing debris and waste materials.
- Experience with laser cutting, CNC machines, or precision manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
