We' re seeking CNC Machine Operators to join our client, a leading global provider of fuel solutions, located in Salisbury! This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity with current openings on 2nd shift (2: 30-11: 00pm) and 3rd shift (11: 00pm-7: 00am), and a pay range of $12.75-13.00 per hour depending on shift. On a production basis, the CNC Operator is responsible for fabricating, machining, and positioning aluminum and steel parts along with other components. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of CNC types of equipment, and previous manufacturing experience, preferably with machines. Responsibilities:
- Verify conformance of materials to specifications using a variety of tools (tape measure, calipers, height gauge, etc.)
- Study drawings, blueprints and/or work instructions to determine material requirements and task sequences
- Cut, bend, and machine parts to meet specifications
- Operate CNC Fabrication Equipment (Laser, Press Brake, 3 and 4 axis vertical machines, lathe, tube bender, saw)
- Set up and operate various fabricating machines that are needed to complete the assigned operations
- Prioritize work assignments, duties, and maintain order at all times, including in the absence of the supervisor or team leader
- May layout and examine metals stock or materials to be processed
- Lift or move materials using a variety of devices
- Wear appropriate (PPE) personal protective equipment as required
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or training/certificate from trade school
- Operating knowledge of Laser, Press Brake, and other CNC types of equipment listed above
- At least 1-year of related metal forming, machining, and fabrication experience preferably in an automotive or aerospace environment
- Good understanding of the metals aluminum and steel
- Know how to use different tools and equipment used in the metals trades (both hand and automatic)
- Previous experience/ability to read blueprints, schematics and work instructions
- Must have good attention to detail
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Willing to learn and be trained
- Reliable attendance
