We’re seeking a dedicated Chemical Blending Technician to become a crucial part of our manufacturing operations. What You’ll Do:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor multiple blending and processing machines to meet production standards.
  • Read and interpret detailed work orders and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Perform precise calculations for material ratios, measurements, and proportions to optimize yields and minimize waste.
  • Handle and feed raw materials, adjusting equipment controls to maintain proper process conditions.
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow all safety protocols.
  • Cross-train and support team members across various operational tasks to ensure continuous production flow.

Required Skills:
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed work instructions and work orders.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Comfortable with basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and simple calculations.
  • Ability to work independently after training, with a quick learning curve of approximately 3–4 weeks.
  • Prior forklift experience or certification is highly desirable, with the ability to retrieve materials and move product as needed.
  • Flexibility and willingness to assist across different operations within the facility.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience operating industrial trucks or forklifts.
  • Knowledge of chemical processes, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Previous manufacturing experience in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1–3 years of manufacturing or related industrial experience, preferably in chemical or process production environments.

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing setting with possible temperature fluctuations.
  • Physical ability to perform industrial tasks in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new tools and procedures.
