We' re seeking a Customer Verification Agent for our client, a provider of early childhood resources located in Lewisville! This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity with an 8: 30am-5: 30pm schedule and offering a competitive pay rate. The Customer Verification Agent will contribute to the overall success of the company and support business operations by ensuring timeliness and accuracy of the customer database. Responsibilities include initializing all incoming mail, internet and fax orders, and performing customer account maintenance in PeopleSoft system environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, skilled at multi-tasking, and have excellent customer service and communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Set-up new customer account number in PeopleSoft system
- Determine classification and taxation using reference materials and customer information
- Enter shipping and billing address, contact information, sales representative information, etc.
- Determine by classification if eligible for automatic credit limit, and set-up in system
- Cross reference in system customer number for order to customer account number for billing
- Contact customers with questions on missing information as needed
- Date stamp all incoming mail, internet and fax
- Locate customer account numbers in system for incoming orders
- Verify customer information on all incoming orders and perform maintenance in system on customer information
- Maintain log in Excel on all facsimile and overnight orders received (by day received, customer, state, purchase order, pages, and destination department)
- Assist customer over the phone with questions regarding orders sent in
- Interact with the Sales Team, Customer Service Centers, etc. Regarding receipt of orders and special projects
- Assist order entry with overflow orders received by mail, facsimile and web to ensure workflow maximums are maintained and overall goals are met

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Detail oriented and organized with the flexibility to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
- Effective in a multi-tasking environment with good internet research skills
- Good customer service and communication skills to interact with internal and external customers
- Computer literacy in a Windows environment with Excel experience and strong 10-key skills
- Previous call center experience is a plus
- High degree of accuracy in work and ability to make decisions within departmental guidelines
