We are currently seeking an experienced Database Solutions Developer for our client, a not-for-profit organization in Greensboro! This is a permanent, Direct Hire position offering a competitive salary range depending on experience. This role will design, code, test, and manage information technology deliverables associated with internal and client technology platforms, which can include client data and messaging interfaces, database schemas, database tables, SQL and other reporting application code, documentation associated with applications and databases, and scripts that support the monitoring or maintenance of applications and databases. The Solutions Developer will be developing and supporting the company' s current ERP system, and qualified candidates should be able to extract, transform and load data from several data sources. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor' s degree in Computer Science and at least 4 years of SQL Server experience, with mastery Excel skills. Responsibilities:
- Supporting numerous databases across multiple instances and locations
- Designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance
- Design, create, and implement database systems based on the end user' s requirements
- Prepare documentations for database applications and improve application performances
- Memory management for database systems
- Ensure the data quality and integrity in databases
- Fix any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures
- Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development
- Take regular database backup, test databases and perform bug fixes
- Develop and follow best practices for database design and development activities
- Help to design and implement redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and data archiving to ensure effective protection and integrity of data assets
- Assist in maintaining a healthy network environment, minor repair, maintenance, and installation of computers and/or miscellaneous equipment

Required Skills:
- BS/BA Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical fields
- At least 4 years of SQL Server experience including T-SQL skills, stored procedures, triggers, SSIS and SSRS
- Highly proficient at writing efficient queries, views, indexes, stored procedures and functions within SQL Server
- Experienced at modifying existing databases and database management systems
- Extensive Data Architecture experience
- Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principals, and practices
- Demonstrated performance tuning skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects with minimal supervision, maintaining a clear focus on priorities
- Configuring PCs and placing on production floor
- Good working knowledge of PC hardware, scanners and label printers and of PC utilities and tools
- Possess a positive attitude, easy to communicate with, and approachable
- Highly energized and self-motivated individual
- Strong written and oral communications skills, with the ability to define common objectives
- Strong planning, organization, and time management skill

Preferred Additional Skills:
- VB.NET
- SSRS and SSAS experience
- EDI training or experience
- Biztalk training or experience
- SharePoint training or experience
- Minor web development and maintenance
- EDI / XML knowledge or training
- Strong ERP experience, MAS500 experience a plus
