Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Drawer Assembly Operator to help us produce high-quality products in our fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for following production schedules, setting up machinery, and ensuring the accurate assembly of drawers. Key Responsibilities:
- Follow Production Schedule: Adhere to the set production schedule, ensuring drawers are assembled in the correct sequence and on time.
- Set Up & Operate Drawer Clamp: Set up and adjust the drawer clamp for each run. Load and unload the clamp safely and efficiently.
- Use of Nail Gun: Operate a nail gun to secure drawer bottoms with precision and care.
- Stack Assembled Drawers: Stack completed drawers on pallets for safe storage and transportation.
- Record Keeping: Accurately document production output and maintain records of work completed.
- Machine Operation Flexibility: When drawer assembly is not operating, you’ll be expected to assist in other machine operator tasks as needed to ensure production flow.
- Productivity: Meet or exceed established parts-per-hour targets as outlined by production standards.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of focus on quality to ensure each drawer assembly is completed correctly.
- Dependability: Demonstrate excellent attendance, adhering to scheduled breaks and lunch periods.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to a positive and cooperative team environment through effective communication and teamwork.
- Efficiency: Manage time effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, production-oriented setting.
- Standing: Must be able to stand for the entire work shift.
- Physical Activity: Frequent bending and side-to-side rotation are required for assembly tasks.
- Lifting & Stacking: Ability to lift and stack completed drawer components as necessary.
