Job Description
The Resource is hiring a DropShip Shipping Clerk for our client, a distributor of textile materials, located in Elkin, NC! This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity that offers a pay rate of $16.00 per hour, and has a 1st shift working schedule (8:00am-4:30pm). The Dropship Shipping Clerk will work and operate various shipping label equipment, binding and cutting material, and keeping up with production goals. Ideal candidates for this role must be comfortable working in fast-paced environment and completing repetitive tasks. Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Process picked orders to generate ship labels for packing
- Assist the Dropship Lead to ensure picking and packing teams meet daily goals
- Any other duties assigned to by manager
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Up to 1 year year(s) of relevant experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds
- Basic computer and excel skills
- Work well in teams
- Follow directions
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management System software systems
