We are now hiring Election Poll Workers for Forsyth County! These temporary assignments will start in Mid-October and last until the end of November. There are two shift options available: 6: 30am-1: 30pm OR 1: 00pm-8: 00pm, and the pay rate is $10.86 per hour. To qualify for these positions, you MUST be registered to vote in Forsyth County, and if you' re not currently registered, there is still time to do so before the project begins. Poll Workers must be able to attend a mandatory training session on October 3rd, 4th OR 5th at the Board of Elections Headquarters. The election process needs many people involved, working at polling places and performing a variety of jobs - if you are interested in working to help this process run smoothly, and meet the requirements below, apply today!

- Must be a registered voter and resident of Forsyth county
- Cannot hold any elective office under the government of the United States or of North Carolina
- Cannot be a candidate for nomination or election
- Cannot hold any office in a state, congressional district, county, or precinct political party or political organization
- Cannot serve as a poll worker in the same precinct as a spouse, child, spouse of a child, sister or brother
- Cannot be the wife, husband, mother, father, son, daughter, brother or sister of any candidate for this election
- Must participate in training conducted by the Board of Elections concerning the election
