We' re now hiring a Maintenance Electrician for our power technologies client in Welcome! This Temp-to-Hire opportunity has a 2nd shift schedule (3: 00pm-11: 30pm) with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour, and our client is eager to hire the right candidate on permanent! This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance on machines, testing equipment, and diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems. Qualified candidates will have a well-rounded work background in a Technician capacity, and have experience with electrical controls for automated machinery. - Use tools including common hand and power tools (hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches), precision measuring instruments, and electrical and electronic testing devices
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate
- Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary
- Ensure work area is clean and safety standards are followed
- Understand and apply the company Quality Policy to ensure that quality objectives are met

- At least 5-years of experience as a well-rounded Technician
- Capable of Diagnosing/Repairing mechanical systems and electrical controls of automated machinery
- At least 3-years of experience with electrical controls for automated machinery
- Comfortable stooping, bending, and moving about the plant for what could be up to 12 hours per day
- Ability to operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
- Comfortable lifting a minimum of 50 pounds repetitively
- Reliable and on-time attendance record
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screening and testing
