Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment used in high-tech manufacturing and banknote production. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of industrial machinery and automation systems, contributing to our mission of providing top-quality security products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test electrical systems, circuits, and equipment used in banknote printing and manufacturing.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues with machinery to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.

  • Work alongside mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical systems into automated production processes.

  • Perform regular maintenance and calibration of electrical systems to ensure peak performance and safety compliance.

  • Develop and maintain electrical schematics, technical drawings, and documentation for system design and troubleshooting.

  • Conduct power analysis, load testing, and failure mode analysis to improve system reliability and efficiency.

  • Monitor electrical system performance and implement improvements to enhance operational safety, performance, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, local codes, and safety regulations (e.g., NEC).

  • Provide technical support to the production team for system troubleshooting and optimization.

  • Stay updated with industry advancements and best practices to continuously improve electrical systems and automation processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HMI, and industrial automation is a plus.

  • Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards (e.g., NEC).

  • Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, MATLAB, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to walk, stand, or bend for up to 12 hours.

  • Excellent color vision and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to work on any shift, including 12-hour shifts.

  • Must adhere to strict security and safety regulations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in currency production or security printing.

  • Knowledge of Allen-Bradley and Siemens automation platforms.

  • Understanding of power distribution, control systems, and energy efficiency techniques.

  • Certification or training in industry-specific safety and technical standards.
