We' re seeking an Electrical Technician for our client, an international leading manufacturer of high quality thermal processing equipment, located in Winston-Salem! This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with a 1st shift working schedule (6: 00am-2: 30pm, Monday-Friday) and an excellent pay range. This position is within the Electronics Department and is responsible for learning and maintaining proficiency in certain skills and techniques, and for providing a quality product for the next production operation. Candidates will be required to travel from time to time to oversee installations or handle service work, traveling approximately 6-10 times per year, for no more than 3 days. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in electrical panel layout and wiring, and knowledge of electrical circuits. - Follow instructions, drawings, schematics and specifications to wire furnaces, control cabinets and associated components
- Perform electrical and electronic tests on finished product to ensure proper operation
- Perform all tasks assigned at a high level of competence
- Inspect and verify all work performed to ensure it meets or exceeds quality criteria and industrial standards
- Fill out job traveler sign-off sheets and Electronic/Electrical Quality Check Sheets
- Use of general hand tools, Electrical testing machines and voltage meters, Table saws, drill press and small hand tools, Forklift, crane and other moving devices
- Will travel from time to time to oversee installations or handle service work at customer sites. (Approximately 6 10 times per year and usually for no more than 3 days.)

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous work experience in electrical panel layout and wiring
- Working knowledge of electrical/electronic principles and theories, and a keen knowledge of electrical circuitries
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and production drawings
- Ability to operate and interpret electronic /electrical test equipment, and to perform circuit troubleshooting
- Ability and willingness to follow instructions with minimal supervision
- Good understanding of electronic components (Relays, fuses, and Circuit Breakers)
- Good problem solving and communication skills, and good general mechanical skills such as drilling and tapping mounting holes
- Comfortable standing 8-10 hours per day, and performing repetitive motions
- Skilled at expressing or exchanging ideas, and receiving detailed information through oral communication
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and to bend, crawl and climb ladders
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screening and testing
- Comfortable wearing a dust mask or breathing respirator while performing job tasks
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
