We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician for our client, an international leading manufacturer of high quality thermal processing equipment, in Winston-Salem! This Direct Hire opportunity is 1st Shift (6: 00am-2: 30pm) and offers a competitive salary range dependent on experience. The Electrical Technician must learn and maintain proficiency in certain skills and techniques, and have a good understanding of the quality practices and principles of the required functions for the department. This role is responsible for providing a quality product for the next production operation. Responsibilities:
- Follow instructions, drawings, schematics and specifications to wire furnaces, control cabinets and associated components
- Perform electrical and electronic tests on finished product to ensure proper operation
- Perform all tasks assigned at a high level of competence
- Inspect and verify all work performed to ensure it meets or exceeds quality criteria and industrial standards
- Fill out job traveler sign-off sheets and Electronic/Electrical Quality Check Sheets

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Work experience in electrical panel layout and wiring
- Working knowledge of electrical/electronic principles and theories
- Keen knowledge of electrical circuitries
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and production drawings
- Ability to operate and interpret electronic/ electrical test equipment
- Ability and willingness to follow instructions with minimal supervision
- Ability to perform circuit troubleshooting
- Good understanding of electronic components (Relays, fuses, and Circuit Breakers)
- Good problem solving and communication skills
- Good general mechanical skills such as drilling and tapping mounting holes
- Precious experience using general hand tools, electrical testing machines and voltage meters, table saws, drill press, forklift, crane, calipers and micrometers
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds, standing 8-10 hours per day, performing repetitive motions, bending, crawling, climbing ladders, etc.
