Quality Engineer / Product Complaints Contractor

Position Overview

We’re seeking a Quality Engineer (QE) Contractor with a strong background in product complaints investigation and quality systems to support our client’s manufacturing and distribution operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with at least 3 years of industry experience in quality engineering, preferably within the medical device or regulated manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve field-based product complaints, including root cause analysis and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, Operations, and Engineering teams to support quality initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to complaint investigations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the Quality Engineering team.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (required).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role.
  • Familiarity with medical device regulations and industry standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
