About the Role:
As an Exhibit Carpenter/Woodworker, you will be responsible for crafting one-of-a-kind wood and material elements that are integral to brand activations, trade show exhibits, pop-up shops, and retail displays. Your work will help clients connect with their audiences through memorable, immersive experiences.
- Fabricate Custom Woodwork: Build cabinets, shelving, countertops, and other unique wood elements for marketing displays and brand experiences.
- Blueprint & Technical Knowledge: Interpret and execute complex blueprints, sketches, and instructions to bring design concepts to life.
- Expert Tool Use: Operate woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools with skill and precision.
- Collaborate with Design Teams: Work closely with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure every exhibit meets client specifications and brand guidelines.
- Troubleshoot & Innovate: Resolve challenges on-site by providing creative solutions that enhance the exhibit's functionality and aesthetic.
- Maintain Workspace: Keep a safe and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained.
- 2+ years of professional experience in carpentry, woodworking, or cabinetry.
- Solid understanding of various materials, finishes, and advanced construction techniques.
- Expertise in reading blueprints, accurate measurement, and executing complex cuts/joinery.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering top-quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with changing priorities.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
