Job Description
The Resource is hiring a Furniture Packer for our client, a designer manufacturer and distributor of solid wood furniture, located in Lexington, NC! This is a Temp-to Hire opportunity that offers a pay rate of $17.00 per hour, and has a 1st shift schedule (6:00am-4:30pm). The Furniture packer would be responsible for unpacking incoming furniture materials and checking the items for quality. Ideal candidates for this role should be comfortable moving and lifting heavy materials, detail oriented, and have knowledge and experience using hand tools and power tools. Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Unpacking furniture for quality inspection while maintaining packaging materials
- Pack furniture after inspection/repair with foam, protectors, cardboard, wooden crate
- Move heavy pieces of furniture carefully
- Detail oriented, and you have high standards
- Knowledge of shop tools, and you use them safely and with respect
- Knowledge of tool maintenance would be a plus
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
- Team player
