Job Description

The Resource is hiring a Groundskeeper for our client in Lexington, NC! This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity that offers a pay rate of $12.00 per hour, and has a 1st shift working schedule (7:00am-4:00pm). The Groundskeeper would be responsible for maintaining the maintenance of the lawn and grounds client's buildings. Duties include maintaining previous landscaping, helping trim the edges of lawns, caring for a garden, managing turf, and using a lawn mower on flat or sloped areas. Ideal candidates for this role should have proven experience as a groundskeeper or similar role, knowledge of landscaping techniques, and have the ability to operate grounds keeping equipment. Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a groundskeeper or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of horticulture and landscaping techniques
- Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment safely and effectively
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
