We' re actively seeking a Human Resources Generalist for our client, a leading provider of innovative, productivity-enhancing metal fabrication equipment, at their facility in Greensboro, NC! This is a permanent, Direct Hire opportunity with an excellent salary and benefits package. The HR Generalist will be responsible for answering questions related to the Greensboro Solution Center personnel and interpreting policy where knowledge, procedures and rules exist. Duties will include recruiting qualified candidates and coordinating the selection process, conducting orientations, preparing reports, compiling and maintaining salary and personnel statistics, as well as assisting with guests visiting the facility during shows and/or demos. The ideal candidate must have strong recruiting and HR experience, and will be the face of the company to the Triad area. Responsibilities:
- Work with all levels of management to perform recruiting activities for all positions (non-exempt and exempt)
- Attend job fairs, high school/college interest sessions, radio station ads, etc. For recruitment purposes
- Review maintain and update Job Descriptions
- Conduct new hire orientations, and exit interviews
- Prepare computer-generated reports, including monthly Employee Activity Report
- Update and implement required plans such as Manufacturing Safety policy
- Assist with guests visiting the center during shows and/or demos
- Maintain personnel files
- Administer temporary personnel needs, and coordinate temporary help, including budget responsibility
- Within range of knowledge, answer questions concerning state and federal labor laws
- Process changes in employee status
- Function as extension of Corporate Human Resources Department
- Provide back-up phone answering support
- Assist in miscellaneous duties within the department

Qualifications:
- Recruiting and HR experience supporting a manufacturing facility with the ability to support the needs of approximately 200 employees with little direct supervision
- Ability to generate excitement and interest in what the company is bringing to the southeast
- Polished, professional, approachable individual
- Someone who wants stability, and is in it for the long run, with the best interests of the company at their core
- Knowledge of State and Federal Labor Laws and requirements
- Computer knowledge (word processing and spreadsheets)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and detailed-oriented
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Manufacturing environment is required (ISO, 6S)
- Ability to coordinate several priorities at one time
- Ability to work harmoniously with others
- Ability to accept and follow instructions
