Our client, a leading organization in the Greensboro area, is seeking High Reach Forklift Operators for a rewarding career in their warehouse and manufacturing operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a positive community and play a crucial part in production and inventory management. This is a second shift position, working 4:00pm to 12:30am. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to receive, move, and store products and materials.
  • Conduct daily forklift inspections, reporting any issues to the supervisor to ensure equipment is in top condition.
  • Unload products and materials from trucks and tractor-trailers with precision and care.
  • Perform initial receiving inspections, verifying product count and condition; report any discrepancies to the material expediter.
  • Process shipments accurately using our computer systems, ensuring timely and correct data entry.
  • Safely store products and materials in designated storage areas, optimizing space usage.
  • Shrink-wrap and prepare palletized shipping orders, moving them to the shipping station for further processing.
  • Load outgoing freight as required, ensuring orders are correctly prepared for transport.
  • Monitor bulk storage areas, assisting material handlers in picking orders when needed.
  • Perform cycle counts of bulk storage areas to maintain accurate inventory records.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience operating a high reach forklift and other material handling equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and warehouse operations.
