Senior HRIS Analyst (Workday Configuration)

Location: High Point, NC (Onsite – 3 Days/Week Required)
Job Type: Full-Time | Hybrid (No Remote Option)

Workday Expert Wanted – Hands-On Configuration & System Ownership

We are seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst with deep Workday configuration expertise to serve as the functional lead for a high-impact HR technology environment. This role is ideal for a true Workday power user and system expert—someone who understands the backend, configuration, troubleshooting, and data structure of Workday, not just general usage.

Important: This is a hybrid onsite role (3 days/week in High Point, NC). Candidates must be local or willing to commute. Remote candidates will not be considered.

Position Overview

This role serves as the functional lead for Workday HCM, responsible for system administration, data integrity, reporting, and continuous improvement. You’ll partner closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and leadership to ensure systems align with workforce planning, compensation, and organizational structure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead administration, configuration, and optimization of Workday HCM
  • Troubleshoot system issues and manage enhancements, updates, and integrations
  • Oversee position control, compensation structures, and workforce data
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics
  • Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and system governance
  • Support system testing, end-user training, and ongoing improvements
  • Act as a key resource for translating business needs into system solutions
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, IT, or related field
  • 3+ years HRIS experience with 2+ years hands-on Workday configuration
  • Strong understanding of Workday reporting, business processes, and system troubleshooting
  • Ability to analyze data and support workforce analytics and decision-making
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work onsite 3 days per week in High Point, NC
Preferred
  • Workday certifications
  • Experience with position control, compensation, or public sector HR
  • Knowledge of compliance or workforce reporting
