Are you a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to grow in the field of Human Resources? Do you have a passion for people, processes, and making a positive impact in the workplace? If so, we’re looking for a Human Resource Specialist to join our team and help shape the employee’s experience from day one.
This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Paylocity is a big plus!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support daily HR operations including hiring, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations
  • Coordinate and document compliance training, certifications, and continuing education
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes in collaboration with department managers
  • Conduct background checks and verify employment eligibility
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
  • Administer HR programs related to compensation, leave, performance, and safety
  • Respond to employee inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed
  • Participate in disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Stay current on HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 0–2 years of HR experience (internships or part-time roles count!)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Paylocity or other HRIS platforms is a plus
  • SHRM-CP certification is a bonus, but not required
