The Resource is hiring an IT specialist for our client, a high quality furniture manufacturer, located in High Point, NC! This is permanent, Direct-Hire opportunity that offers a salary range of $60,000-$70,000 per year (depending on experience), and has a benefits package that includes Healthcare, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Long-term Disability, 401K, and more! The IT Specialist will assist with company-wide support related to hardware, software, the ERP System, and the overall IT infrastructure management decisions. In addition, this position will work on improvements to ERP software with an offsite developer and work with departments on processes and procedures to improve daily productivity within the ERP system. Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and provide end-user support and training on hardware, software, and network company wide
- Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems and upgrade network hardware and software components as required
- Provide analytical support, user design development, and sandbox testing and implementation for ERP system while working 1:1 with remote Intuitive ERP developer
- Coordinate with 3rd party to ensure cyber security is up to standards with regular testing
- Work with all departments on improving IT system processes and procedures
- Maintain departmental budget and replace/repair equipment as necessary while staying within budget
- Lead the design and development of IT enhancements for testing and implementing new technology
- Provide user training for ERP functions and create documentation of new procedures
- Oversee Inventory Control processes including weekly cycle counts and year end physical inventory
- Assist in determining issues relating to re-occurring inventory discrepancies and notify department heads of resolution requirements.

Qualifications:
- College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar field preferred
- Experience in a desktop support role, including requirements troubleshooting issues, new PC/laptop setup, software installation, network user setup, server backup management, etc
- At least 3 years’ experience working with MRP or ERP systems, preferably Intuitive ERP
- Previous Management experience preferred
- Technical problem-solving ability with a focus on root cause analysis
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple/detail-oriented tasks
- Working knowledge of how to gather, analyze, and organize data
- Self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail
- SQL Experience: Maintenance and creation of functions, stored procedures, views, and tables
