The Resource is hiring an Industrial Parts Cleaner for our client, a custom fabrication company located in the Lexington, NC area! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a 1st shift working schedule (7:00am – 3:30pm), and a pay rate of $15.00+ per hour based on experience. The Parts Cleaner is responsible for preparing parts for the painting process by removing contaminants and preparing them for application. Candidates must be comfortable operating a forklift and working in a fast paced environment. If you're ready to make a job change and interested in learning more, apply today!

Responsibilities:
- Transport parts between departments using a forklift
- Hang parts on racks for cleaning
- Perform pre-soaking, soaking, and pressure washing of parts
- Dry parts using compressed air and place them in drying ovens
- Prepare parts for painting by plugging threaded holes
- Operate cleaning equipment, including valves, pumps, and floor cleaning machines
- Maintain and perform maintenance on cleaning equipment
- Follow shop travelers and instructions
- Remove parts from curing ovens
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Physical ability to lift to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
