The Resource is hiring an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator for our client, a manufacturer of sports equipment, located in Salisbury, NC, This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity offering a pay range of $15.00 (depending on experience), and has a 1st shift working schedule (6:30am-3:15pm). The Sewer would be responsible for operating an industrial sewing machine. Qualified candidates for this role should have knowledge of single-needle and over lock/cover-stitch machines and experience working in a production environment. Qualifications: 
- Attention to detail and ability to produce quality work
- Ability to follow directions and procedures
- Able to work independently
- Experience with single-needle and over lock/cover-stitch machines
- Basic experience and knowledge of industrial sewing and working on sewing machines such as Zig-Zag, Overlock, Single Needle, Double Needle
- Experience working in a production environment
- Prior experience working with a variety of materials such as: vinyl, stretch fabrics, and hems
- Must have the ability to work efficiently to meet shipping deadlines
