We' re seeking a Corporate Insurance Analyst for a temporary assignment with our local healthcare client in Winston-Salem! This position will last approximately 3 months with the potential to lead to a full-time opportunity, and offers a competitive pay rate and standard 8: 00am-5: 00pm schedule. The Insurance Analyst is responsible for assisting the Corporate Insurance team in day-to-day support of system-wide insurance programs for property, casualty and professional liability. The ideal candidate will be someone skilled at data entry and using Excel, and with past experience in Auto Insurance in order to run MVRs. Responsibilities:
- Train and work in certificate of insurances database
- Assist in gathering data to prepare insurance applications
- Maintain/update departmental information systems/databases with underwriting information, renewal data, policy and claims information
- Maintain filing system for correspondence and requests, and respond to various documentation requests as needed
- Maintain listing of company drivers per departmental guidelines, and support team in MVR report queries
- Assist with claims histories and loss run reports, and other departmental insurance projects as assigned
- Assist team in management of general accounting and any other insurance-related projects
- Initiate payments for insurance premiums and all other insurance related costs
- Assist with check deposits for property claims
- Collect data from various internal and external sources to develop summaries for the purpose of reporting on insurance, loss trends and loss prevention

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associates Degree is preferred
- Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) is preferred
- Previous work within an insurance agency/brokerage firm, insurance company or medical office setting
- Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to quickly learn additional software programs and applications
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Willingness to participate in department and other continuing education as required to perform specific job functions
- No previous property casualty experience is required
