Location: Kernersville, NC
Shift: 2nd Shift (4:00 PM – 12:00 AM)
Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Test Fabric & Products: Conduct tests on incoming fabric, finished fabric, and coated fabric to ensure they meet specifications and customer requirements across all production areas.
- Accurate Reporting: Record and report test results accurately on lab forms within the required timeframes.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and verify Instron testing equipment, including load cells and other essential instruments.
- Quality Control: Perform special tests as directed by the Lab Manager or QA Manager to maintain high-quality standards.
- Monitor Test Results: Notify operators and supervisors immediately if test results fall outside of specifications.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe work environment, and ensure you are prepared to handle fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, and chemical spill responses.
- Adhere to Urethane Coating Testing: Familiarity with testing requirements for urethane coatings.
- Cross-Training: Be willing to learn and assist in at least one additional area of the facility during low-volume periods to help meet production needs.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Skills: Basic math and reading skills are necessary; experience with statistical quality control software for data entry is essential.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, bend, and stoop throughout the shift. Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Experience: Prior lab or quality control experience is preferred but not required.
