Our client, a family owned business headquartered in Greensboro, NC, is seeking Low Voltage Installation Techs to join their team! Combining experience and knowledge with their technical skills, this company has built a reputation for delivering quality low voltage solutions, and they' re fully licensed in low voltage alarm and security in North Carolina and Virginia. This position will join their growing team in Lynchburg, Virginia, and is a full-time, permanent opportunity with an excellent PTO and benefits package! As a technician, you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot life safety low voltage systems including wander prevention, nurse call, access control, locking systems and CCTV. Candidates must have low voltage experience, installing cable or wiring, and possess the customer service and communication skills necessary to train customers on products/software. Responsibilities:
- Install and repair low-voltage equipment in facilities located in several different states
- Safely operate and maintain a work vehicle
- Maintain accurate documentation including work orders, time sheets, and equipment logs
- Interact with customers in a professional manner
- Effectively communicate with the team on a daily basis
- Follow all Safety policies and procedures
- Safely work in high-traffic areas

Requirements:
- At least two years of previous related experience is preferred
- Knowledge of relay logic, electrical circuit theory, wireless networking, cable pulling, and structure modifications using power and hand tools
- Ability to travel for up to 3-4 nights per week, and be on-call one weekend a month (Company provided vehicle and Per Diem expenses for travel days are included)
- Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screening and testing
- Ability to work on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Willing to pitch in and get the job done
- Leadership experience supervising a team is a plus
