Job Opportunity: Machine Operator with Die Cutter Experience

Position Overview:

Join our client’s team as a Machine Operator with Die Cutter Experience. This role offers significant growth opportunities in a fast-paced, dynamic, and fun environment. Our client is a leading marketing specialty company in North America, leveraging cutting-edge technology to manage, produce, and distribute corporate marketing programs, in-store signage (POS/POP), store décor, trade show and event graphics, and fleet graphics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and manage die cutter machines, ensuring efficient and accurate production.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions from the Digital Supervisor; communicate updates and feedback as needed.
  • Read and interpret production orders/job travelers; use the computer job tracking system to monitor progress.
  • Set up and run digital machines, maintaining high standards of efficiency and quality per MPI benchmarks.
  • Accurately report material usage to maintain inventory balances.
  • Support ongoing quality improvement processes to ensure defect-free production aligned with technical specifications.
  • Verify materials, colors, and image sizing according to order specifications.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and periodic color checks following MPI procedures.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience operating machines, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience with Clamshell and Flatbed Die Cutter Machines is strongly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of color management is an asset.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and maintain high attention to detail.
