Manufacturing Technician Job Responsibilities
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play an essential role in daily production operations by:
- Operating manufacturing and production equipment according to established procedures
- Running and monitoring machines to ensure quality output
- Working with slitter and folder machines (machine operating experience is a plus)
- Inspecting products to meet quality standards
- Following all workplace safety procedures and company policies
- Standing, walking, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Working as part of a team to achieve production goals
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Following detailed instructions and production schedules
- Demonstrating strong attendance, reliability, and professionalism
This position requires employees to work a rotating 12-hour schedule on a 2-2-3 shift pattern.
Shift Hours
- Day Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:00 PM
- Night Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:00 AM
- Employees rotate between day and night shifts monthly
- Candidates must be comfortable working a rotating schedule
- This schedule is a required part of the position
To be successful in this Manufacturing Technician role, you should have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong attendance and dependability record
- Ability to follow directions and standard operating procedures
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Previous machine operation experience preferred but not required
- Starting pay: $21.00 per hour
- Pay increase to $22.00 per hour upon permanent hire
