Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, grinders, machining centers, drill presses, and other machine tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions.
- Perform machine setups, tool changes, and adjustments using basic G-code and conversational programming.
- Manufacture precision aerospace components to tight tolerances.
- Conduct inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and perform routine machine maintenance.
- Complete production, inspection, and quality documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to support on-time delivery.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read blueprints and GD&T specifications.
- Experience with machine setup, precision measuring instruments, and quality inspections.
- Basic computer skills and manufacturing documentation experience.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and mechanical aptitude.
- Stand for extended periods.
- Lift up to 40 pounds.
- Work safely in a manufacturing environment.
