The Resource is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Management Specialist to join our client,  a commercial printing company, located in Browns Summit. This is a permanent, Direct-Hire opportunity that offers a pay rate of $18.00- $20.00 per hour (depending on experience), a benefits package that includes Healthcare, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K, Long-term Disability, and has a 1st shift schedule (7:00am-3:00pm).   The Maintenance Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing stock levels, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.  Ideal candidates for this role should have knowledge of inventory control best practices and procedures  and strong analytical and numerical skills for data analysis. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a knack for problem-solving, we 'd love to hear from you, apply today!

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking stock levels, ordering new supplies, and monitoring usage rates
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of inventory items, negotiate pricing and terms, and resolve any issues related to supply chain management
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize waste, loss, and theft. Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions regarding inventory levels and ordering quantities
- Keep detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, withdrawals, and adjustments. Maintain documentation for compliance and audit purposes
- Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, operations, and purchasing to coordinate inventory needs and ensure smooth workflow
- Assist in maintaining equipment and tools related to inventory management, such as barcode scanners, storage systems, and inventory software.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Additional education in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is beneficial
- Previous experience in inventory management, supply chain management, or a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with inventory software and data analysis tools is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines effectively
- Attention to detail is crucial in maintaining accurate inventory records and identifying discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for collaborating with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, implement solutions, and prevent inventory-related problems
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to achieving departmental goals
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices and procedures
- Strong analytical and numerical skills for data analysis and forecasting
- Ability to work independently and make decisions based on inventory data and company policies
- Familiarity with inventory management techniques such as FIFO (First In, First Out) and JIT (Just In Time) inventory control
