About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring accurate records to support smooth operations. If you have strong organizational skills and a passion for supply chain efficiency, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, monitor usage rates, and order supplies as needed.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with vendors to ensure timely deliveries, negotiate pricing, and resolve supply chain issues.
- Inventory Control: Implement procedures to minimize waste, loss, and theft. Conduct regular audits and cycle counts.
- Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and make data-driven decisions on ordering quantities.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions for compliance and audits.
- Collaboration: Partner with maintenance, operations, and purchasing teams to meet inventory needs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining tools and systems related to inventory management.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in inventory or supply chain management preferred. Familiarity with inventory software is a plus.
