The Resource is assisting our client in their search for a Maintenance Manager for their facilities in Burlington, North Carolina. This is a permanent Direct-Hire opportunity that offers a salary range of $90,000- $120,000 per year (depending on experience), and full benefits package. The purpose of this job is to manage Maintenance and Facilities in the factory, providing an optimal infrastructure and improving production facilities in terms of flexibility, capital input, operating costs, and performance. Duties will also include managing supervisors and technicians at the site, managing the maintenance teams and day-to-day maintenance costs, systems and program, leading a team of electrical, mechanical, control and utilities supervisors/ technicians, maintenance planners and additional employees. Ideal candidates for this role should have degree in Engineering or equivalent education with demonstrated working experience. Responsibilities:
- Schedules repair, maintenance, and installation to ensure continuous production operations
- Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities
- Manage AFI’s CMMS system, along with the Maintenance Planner, to execute Work Orders and PMs in a timely manner
- Monitor and maintain Facilities equipment including boilers, compressors, and ammonia system
- Direct maintenance supervisors and hourly maintenance associates in their roles and responsibilities to meet plant objectives in safety, quality, cost, and customer service
- Ensure persistence and escalation process for downtime of critical equipment
- Provide technical support for efficient troubleshooting / problem solving activities and maintenance repair to maximize efficiencies and limit downtime
- Provide leadership in implementing / maintaining preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Adhere monthly PM compliance 90%-95%
- Manage maintenance department costs within budgetary guidelines
- Ensure that appropriate inventory levels for standard replacement parts are maintained
- Follow all plant safety policies and procedures. Be actively involved in safety, participate in safety programs, engage in safety activities, perform risk assessments, and demonstrate ownership as well as leadership in personal safety and the safety of other team members
- Execute plant-specific vision and mission to assure continuous improvement and alignment with the corporate vision
- Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers

Qualifications:
- B.S. or B.E. degree in Engineering or equivalent education with demonstrated working experience
- 5 - 10+ years of professional experience in Maintenance Management and organizational management areas in FMCG/ related industry
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a people and maintenance management role (amount of experience needed depends on site size/ complexity)
- Minimum 3 – 5 years manufacturing experience
- Food and Beverage Industry experience preferred
- Boiler and Ammonia Certifications Preferred
- Maintenance Systems and Maintenance Management expertise
- Budget management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Understands and implements continuous improvement to drive performance for loss management
