Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Mt. Airy, North Carolina

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate a team of skilled workers in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery.
  • Oversee the technical operations in a multi-craft environment, ensuring high-quality work in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Manage the Maintenance Department's daily activities, including schedules, capital projects, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Ensure safety standards are met, working towards ZERO HARM across all operations.
  • Provide technical support and training for maintenance and manufacturing personnel across multiple facilities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and resolve technical issues.
  • Support the procurement of maintenance supplies and manage vendor relationships to ensure the best quality and cost efficiency.
What You’ll Do:
  • Lead, motivate, and train a team of maintenance professionals to ensure high performance and safety.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and quality checks on equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Manage and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and production efficiency.
  • Supervise the use of the system to track maintenance tasks and optimize equipment performance.
  • Resolve work problems and provide leadership to the team through hands-on coaching and technical support.
Qualifications:
  • Technical training (High school diploma + 1 to 3 years of apprenticeship or related technical certification) is required.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in industrial maintenance, with expertise in electrical systems, mechanical repairs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) preferred.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the manufacturing industry.
